Throughout my life I have always been around racing, on and off the track. My father Mark Lanphear, started racing at the age of 17. My father used to live in North Carolina and work with A.J Foyt, the Darrell Waltrip truck team, and Terminal Trucking Motorsports.
I started racing at the age of 13 and continued through the years, now racing at Speedway 51 in Groveton NH, and Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre VT. I'm a driver for Ken Squier and his Race to Read program encouraging literacy in young children by using my race car.
Throughout the years of my racing career I have accomplished many top threes, fives, and top tens. In 2015 I was awarded the sportsmanship award, and ended the season with 2nd in the championship within my division.
I want to raise money for Racing 2 Cure because many people in my family have gotten cancer. Nothing in life is promised, and doing good deeds for others can lead to beautiful outcomes. Cancer affects all of us even if you don't have it, embracing the pain, fighting, and taking this one lap at a time, we can all come together, and help the families in need of love and support.
