Being brought to the dirt track at 3 1/2 weeks old and being there ever since, dirt racing has become the only thing I have known and ever since it has brought a long list of new fans, friends and family into my life.
I have grown up watching my father, Chuck ‘The Cobra’ Hebing, race in many different divisions of dirt racing. Although it has been a blast watching him compete all over the United States and Canada, I knew I always wanted to be sitting in a driver’s seat instead of just watching.
At the age of 14, I started racing a 270cc Micro Sprint at local tracks, in the Finger Lakes area of New York. I experienced many feature wins from 2009 to 2013 in my micro and started to gain some fans that still follow my racing.
In the middle of my 2013 racing season, I was given a 305 Sprint Car ride allowing me to move up from micros to a full size Sprint Car. In my first year I have led laps, out raced veterans, and gained valuable experience. In just my second time in the sprint car, I finished in 2nd place after leading half of the race. I received a few top 5 finishes in 2013 before the season came to an end. I have enjoyed going to new tracks and meeting new people all along the way. In 2014 I picked up my first career 305 feature win and have qualified my 305 for a few 360 races, and have experienced many tops 5 finishes. I’m looking forward to where the next season will lead.
At twenty my life revolves around dirt racing, not something the typical girl can say. I couldn’t be happier to follow in my Dad’s footsteps, even gaining the nickname, ‘Lil Cobra’, after my Dad, ‘The Cobra’, but I want to make a name for myself. I am motivated to put the #10 in victory lane even more in the coming seasons!
